Ben H. Carr's Obituary
Ben H. Carr, 93, of Cotter Arkansas passed away on Saturday, January 14th, 2023. Mr. Carr was a U.S. Marine Veteran. He graduated from Southside High School in 1947 and attended University of Memphis.
Mr. Carr was the retired Vice President of Fay Builders Supply and Architectural Hardware Consultant.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Gesell Carr, 2 grandchildren, Jennifer Carr and Matthew Carr, 2 sisters, Geraldine Broyles and Sherry Bryant, and one brother, Ura Vance Carr, Jr.
Mr. Carr is survived by his two sons, Glenn Carr (Martha) and Michael Carr (Kelly), two daughters, Patricia Miller (Ed), and Sheri Grear (Don), one brother, Harvey Carr (Cindy), two brothers in law, Howard Broyles and Bill Bryant, 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
The visitation will be held Friday, January 20, 2023, at Memorial Park Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m., until the service time at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made in his honor to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, The Wounded Warrior Project, or Aldersgate United Methodist Church.
