Barbara Winbourne's Obituary
Barbara Winbourne, 85, of Memphis, TN went to be with the Lord on the night of June 14th, 2021.
Born on February 1st, 1936 in Memphis, TN, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, RJ "Pete" Winbourne. Barbara and Pete were members of Independent Presbyterian Church. Together, they enjoyed traveling, entertaining and being grandparents. Barbara is survived by her son, John Thomas "JT" Wood (Michelle), sister, Carolyn Ashman, stepson, Jay Winbourne (Lisa) ,Beverly Winbourne and six grandchildren, Jennie, John (Shayna), Aden, Courtney (Ted), Jessie (Trey), Sean and three great grand children. Barbara will be deeply missed by friends, family and all who knew her.
The family would like to thank the staff at Gallaway Nursing for the loving care she received. Memorial service will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home with a visitation starting at 1:30 p.m. followed by a service at 2:30 p.m., Monday, June 21, 2021.
