Barbara Warr's Obituary
Barbara Warr was born on April 23, 1955, to Alberta and James Irby in Albany, Georgia. She was baptized at St. Matthews M.B. Church. She graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in May 1973. She worked as a secretary at the Board of Education and Girl Scouts of the USA and was a homemaker and beloved mother, sister, and friend.
Barbara joined Lord’s Tabernacle Holiness Church and was a very active member for over 20 years. In 2018, she joined Second Presbyterian Church. She was a dedicated and faithful member until her passing on May 7, 2022
Her eldest daughter, Felicia Townsend preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her memory, Kristil Jackson and Kayla Warr; two grandsons: Aaron Townsend Jr., and Avron Townsend; one brother: Barry Irby; four sisters: Carol Shabazz, Jane Anderson, Pameala Teal, Darlene Irby; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
