Barbara Juanita Hillhouse Tittle's Obituary
Barbara Juanita Hillhouse Tittle, 83, of Memphis TN, passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2021. Mrs. Tittle was a longtime member of East Side Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing the piano and listening to gospel music. She enjoyed taking cruises and took over 200 cruises across the world. Mrs. Tittle raised her four children on her own. Many people called her “Little Granny”. Mrs. Tittle also retired from Memphis Light, Gas, and Water. She was preceded in death by son, Dale Howard Tittle, her parents, Ernest and Lorene Hillhouse, her brothers, Hoye, Donald, Louis, E.J., and Homer Hillhouse, her sisters, Louise Hillhouse, Frances Brown, and Carolyn Spears. Mrs. Tittle is survived by daughters, Anita Redden (Curtis), Penny Johnson (Don), and Melody Sutton (Bill), 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren. The family will receive guests starting at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 21, 2021 until the service time at 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will be in Memphis Memory Gardens.
