Barbara Jean Pope's Obituary
Barbara Jean Pope, age 75 passed away on Tuesday October 10, 2023. She was born on July 23, 1948.
She was preceded in death by her parents Nina and Doyle Williams and her sister, Linda Markes and husband of 54 years Terry L. Pope.
She leaves behind her children Dagny Edwards (Joey) and Ethan Pope and her cherished grandchildren,
Jenna and Josh Edwards. Jean lived in Memphis and enjoyed being a bookkeeper for 50 years until semi-retiring to St. Augustine Beach, Florida in 2008. She graduated the University of Memphis in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature. She had a love of reading books and watching Jeopardy, but being with her loved ones made her the happiest of all. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 15, 2023 at 1:00 PM, followed by a Memorial Service to celebrate Jean's life at 2:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery.
