Hamilton family,
I just received the news of Barbara's passing. Both she and Ralph meant much to me. They both were wonderful mentors to all of us in the community.
The Hamilton Eye Institute would not exist without them, first in getting it started and then giving us all continued support. One of my many personal stories about them comes from sitting with Barbara and Ralph in their living room after he retired and they said the goal in life was “ to try to make a difference every day. “ I have taken this simple statement to heart and strive to live by this every day.
They are both greatly missed but they leave a legacy of love and charity in the hearts of all of us.
