I miss Barbara
Thank you, Patrick. That was lovely, especially the Irish Blessing that is SO her.
My Aunt Barbara will always hold a special place in my heart. I will always remember the fun times we had when I was younger, swimming in the pool at her apartments and playing with her cats. She used to always call me her “brown-eyed boy”! She and I both had a strange and eclectic taste in music. I remember discussing some of the crazy music, art and literature I liked that she new about and liked too.She was also a great writer and a forward thinker. I will certainly miss her quirky personality and dry wit but know we will see her on the other side, probably hanging out with some of her favorite among the diseased. I know her an Pawpaw Green will have a lot of catching up to do and will both be there waiting for us to join them one day. Here is an Irish Blessing that makes me think of her:Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there… I do not sleep. I am the thousand winds that blow… I am the diamond glints on snow… I am the sunlight on ripened grain… I am the gentle autumn rain. When you waken in the morning’s hush, I am the swift uplifting rush Of gentle birds in circling flight… I am the soft star that shines at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry— I am not there… I did not die.
Prayers up for you and your family. From your notary family.

Tim, everyone should have such a love in life.Mary Pugh Norwalk CT
Barbara was like a sponge in her enthusiasm to taste, experience, and just derive pleasure from life. She didn’t shy away from new things or new people. She listened to music I probably would never have learned to love, had she not introduced me to new things with so much enthusiasm. When she wanted something, she would push forward with the momentum of a steamroller. On the other end of things, she loved her kitty children with no less intensity than the love between a human mother and baby. Yes, Fredine, she did make a lasting impression on all of us.
Tim, Aunt Jeanette, Lynn , Susan and the rest of the family. We are so very sorry for your loss. May you all find comfort in each other and with the wonderful memories of Barbara. You will all be in our thoughts and prayers during this time of loss. Our love and prayers to all. David & Terri Louk Gautier, MS
