Barbara Jean Daigle's Obituary
Barbara Jean Daigle, a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away on June 15th, 2024, after a courageous battle with illness. Her vibrant spirit and zest for life touched the hearts of all who knew her.
Born on November 8, 1948, Barbara cherished her family and reveled in their company. She found joy in fishing, dancing, singing, and being the life of any gathering. Her fierce pride in her loved ones was evident, and she cultivated lasting friendships throughout her life.
Barbara’s educational journey included Germantown High School, the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, and Gulf Coast Community College. Her professional path was equally diverse. She served as the membership director at Wimbleton Racquet Club for many years. Later, she became an entrepreneur, owning a business that sold salesmen’s fashion clothing samples. She also took over her mother’s specialty advertisement and promotions company, Tri-attitudes, and founded Corporate Promotions and Rewards, both of which she managed until her passing.
Barbara’s legacy lives on through her devoted husband of 55 years, John Edward Daigle. She leaves behind three children Edward Blake Daigle (married to Kelly Daigle) Aimee Daigle Mills (married to Douglas Mills) Jessica Daigle Allen (married to Jeffrey Allen)
Her grandchildren include Madison Nicole Mills, Barrett Wesley Mills (married to Samantha Mills), Haylie Renee Mills, and Easton Blake Daigle.
Barbara was also a proud great-grandmother to Lennon Grace Mills. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lois Vernor and Zenas Vernor. Her parents were William Wallace Jones and Mary Ann Vernor Jones Coe. Barbara’s siblings included William Wallace Jones, Jr. (deceased) and Lois Dianne Jones Nelson (deceased), as well as her surviving sister, Linda Ann Jordan.

The family invites friends to gather for a celebration of her life on Saturday June 29, 2024 from 2:00pm until 5:00pm at the IH Managerial Clubhouse 4523 Canada Rd Lakeland, TN 38002.
