Mrs Barbara was such a sweet, funny and thoughtful neighbor. Always had an encouraging, kind word. Hard to believe we were out in my front yard chatting just a few weeks ago about the neighborhood and how it has changed. You are a big change, my kind friend. You are missed here, but heaven has received a beautiful soul in you! I know that in your present state of grace you shine like never before! ❤️
That one time in Vegas when we were playing around having a ball at the end of the day, you said oh meeee I love you so much. I can't believe you departed so quickly. We were just talking and messaging a day before Least you'll have company with Ruth & Alta. You are so dearly missed by all. Thank you for taking care of us being a mother, grandmother and et.Cetera, going above and beyond to make us happy and smile laugh with us and share special memories. This hit so close to home for the Burrus Family. She was such a special person to everybody. She met. I'm having such a hard time dealing with this myself. She's the closest thing that I had to a second mother. She has been there for me ever since my mom passed now. I don't feel like I have anybody to talk to about it😢 But one thing's for sure you live the full life and you were happy for ever missed. I love you

Mrs. Barbara was a very nice lady and she raised a wonderful and thoughtful man in Mike, who is our terrific neighbor and with whom Mrs. Barbara was living when we moved in across the street from them. I knew her to be a night owl, always staying up late and keeping a watchful eye on the neighborhood. May God keep her and watch over her family in this difficult time.
I was so sad to hear of Barbara's passing. I worked with her in the accounting department of Southern Bell Telephone Co. She was a very sweet, thoughtful person. We lost touch after we both left the telephone company to start our families. However, we had connected through Facebook a few years ago and had kept in touch. My condolences for her family. May God bless you and give you comfort.
