I will never forget as a child and living across the street from the Whitakers. One of my best memories of Mrs. Whitaker was when I was sick, she brought over to my house a bowl of jello with a cute little drawing on a toothpick sticking out of the jello. I must have been about 6 at the time, but that loving thought has gone a long way. Jimmy and I would play in our yards and climb trees. Wonderful memories and a wonderful childhood with friends who knew the meaning of being a good neighbor. -Charma Colton Harrison
Praying for peace and comfort for all the Whitaker family. Jean was such a sweetheart…always one of my favorites to visit with at family reunions. Love to you all!
