Axel Graue's Obituary
Axel Graue, 66, of Germantown passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at Methodist Hospital-Germantown. He was born in Bremen, Germany on July 13, 1945 to Carl & Elfina Graue. He was a longtime employee of Hohenberg Bros and then Cargill Co. In recent years he had several business interests including Fairway Café. Mr. Graue also loved cooking, sailing and all things Maine. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Eve Graue; daughter, Tricia Graue of San Francisco, CA; and brother, Carl Graue of Bremen. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, February 18, 2012 at St. Georges Episcopal Church-Germantown with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be sent to The Nature Conservancy or the charity of donor’s choice.
