A music lover, his particular love for the Shadows band of the ‘60s and riffing his electric guitar for some Blues had never ceased to amuse many. A close friend of him dubbed him as a “German-engineered-machine equipped with an American operating system and controlled by an Indonesian heart” for his never ending passion of his German education. He enjoyed working with tools. He loved to tinker around mechanical objects, especially cars. Home Depot was his second home. Hillarious. Always. A great teacher, friend, advocate, and supporter. Memories of him will live forever. A memorial service will be held on 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made out to benefit St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
