Arthur Panni's Obituary
Arthur David Panni, 88, passed away January 17, 2018. He was born July 13, 1929 in Clarksdale, MS. Arthur was raised by his mother, Becha “Mary” Lazarini and her husband, Joseph “Joe” Marino. He served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was a longtime employee of Dan’s Big Star. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Shackelford Panni. He is survived by his children, Steve Panni (Patty), Kathy Pearson (Tom), Susan Holmes (Chris); grandchildren, Nathan (Naomi), Rebekah, Sara, Hayley, Hannah, and Hope; great-grandson, Nolan; and faithful canine companion, Princess. Arthur always enjoyed going with his “brother” Al Lenhardt to Gibson’s Dounuts. Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. and funeral services will follow at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, January 21 at Kirby Woods Baptist Church. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be sent to the American Heart Association or Kirby Woods Baptist Church.
