Arleen "Nini" Wooten's Obituary
Arleen “Nini” Wooten, 84, of Memphis, TN went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 4, 2014. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She attended The Hutchison School and Southwestern at Memphis. Nini is survived by her husband, S.D. Wooten; her children: son Steve Wooten (Leah) of Oxford, MS, daughters Lawrence Young (Bill) of Little Rock, AR and Shelley Spiro (Steve) of Memphis, TN; five grandchildren: Neely Phelan (Patrick) of Little Rock, AR, Lee Cordon (Justin) of Dallas, TX, William Young of Fayetteville, AR, Wesley Spiro of Atlanta, GA, Natalie Spiro of Knoxville, TN; and six great-grandchildren: Noah, Pierce, and Emerson Phelan of Little Rock, AR and Mary Lawrence, Maggie, and Neely Cordon of Dallas, TX. A memorial service will be held at the Second Presbyterian Church chapel on Wednesday, May 7 at 1 p.m. with visitation immediately following. The family will have a private graveside service at Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Second Presbyterian Church or the Church Health Center.
