A.P. "Bud" Mulligan's Obituary
A.P. “Bud” Mulligan, 88, died peacefully Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Baptist Memorial Hospice. Bud graduated from Duke University, playing football and golf for the Blue Devils. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and worked for Shell Oil Company for 25 years. He left Shell Oil Company to purchase and operate The Southern Company of North Little Rock. Bud was preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Sophie Sumner Hobson Mulligan. He is survived by his daughters, Robin Meinert (Jerry) of Kansas City and Barbara Mulligan of Memphis; son, Robert Mulligan of Little Rock; sister, Barbara Davidson of Tampa; and granddaughters, Alexandra and Kaitlyn Meinert. The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, March 28 at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
