Antonietta "Toni" Kennedy's Obituary
Antonietta (Toni) Kennedy passed away peacefully on December 22, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. Toni was born in Rome, Italy, to the late Gennaro Percuoco and Teresa (Esposito) on August 30, 1928. She emigrated to the United States in 1946 as a WWII warbride, marrying the love of her life, Hezekiah (Kenny) Kennedy. Toni lived in the Canton area for nearly 40 years. She worked as a pharmacist’s technician for over 25 years at the neighborhood pharmacy on North Market and 30th Street. As a dedicated wife and mother, she enjoyed caring for and cooking for her family, neighbors and friends. Toni also lived in the San Diego area for 30 years, where the weather was much like her beloved homeland of Rome, Italy.
Preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 51 years, Hezekiah (Kenny) Kennedy and 7 brothers and sisters, Antonietta’s memory will be cherished by her family; daughter V. Jean Wright (Douglas), Paul H. Kennedy (Beth), Marc A. Kennedy (Patty Jo); grandchildren Christopher Hoffee, Laura Marquis, David Kennedy (Hallie) and Katherine Kennedy-Rocchio (Giuseppe), great-grandchildren Jeffrey and Liam Marquis and Matthew Kennedy. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. Private family services will be held at a later date.
