Anthony Wade "Tony" Cox's Obituary
Anthony Wade “Tony” Cox, 70, passed away October 11, 2014. He was born June 25, 1944 in San Diego, CA. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He was retired from Memphis Light Gas and Water. He was a very generous man, who never met a stranger and was a “father” to many in his neighborhood. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Ellen G. Cox; 11 children; 20 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters; and 2 brothers. He was preceded in death by one sister. Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life at 3 p.m., Wednesday, October 15 at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery.
