Anthony Lazell Spears, Jr., was born on October 31, 2022, to Anthony Lazell Spears, Sr. and Nikkie Marie Spears in Memphis, Tennessee.
At an early age he confessed and accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. He loved God.
Anthony, Jr. graduated from Germantown High School, Class of 2021.
Anthony was affectionally called AJ. He was a loved music and fast cars. He enjoyed driving his 392 SRT Charger, Scat Pack. He had a personality that was larger than life and was well known on Chasewood Drive. He loved joking and laughing. He was very affectionate and very competitive. He was very outgoing, articulate, and never met a stranger. He had a large circle of friends. He was always one to take the initiative and was a natural leader.
Anthony, Jr. transitioned on the evening of November 01, 2022, at the Regional One Medical Center, Memphis, TN.
Anthony, Jr. leaves to cherish his memories his loving parents, Anthony Lezell Spears, Sr. and Nikkie Marie Spears; his grandparents, Steve Corbitt, Dorothy Murphy (James), Elizabeth Oliver (Willie), and Charles Armstead; siblings, Trevor Gibson, Trevore Walls, Keshaun Walls, Asha Spears, Thailand Spears, and Jaylen Downs; niece, Keilani; nephews, KJ, Jacob, Prince, Ayden, Tristan, and Kaden; and host of other family and friends.
A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 12:00pm in the Sanctuary of New Sardis Baptist Church. The Family will receive friends for a visitation on Saturday, November 12, 2022 starting at 11:00am at New Sardis Baptist Church.
