Anthony "Tony" Matracea's Obituary
Anthony “Tony” Matracea, 59, died Friday, March 5, 2010 at Methodist Germantown Hospital. Mr. Matracea worked for FedEx in Facilities Maintenance. He was a communicant of St Phillip the Apostle Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Mary Maynard Matracea, two daughters, Maggie Eggert of Olive Branch, MS and Toni Marie Matracea of Memphis, a sister Nina J. Stone (Warren) of Memphis, a brother, Pat Matracea (Doris) of Bartlett, 4 grandchildren Haleigh, Jereme, Hunter, and Joseph. A visitation will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Saturday, from 5 – 7 and Sunday from 4 – 6 with a Rosary service at 5:30. A Funeral Mass will be held at St Michaels Catholic Church at 11:00 on Monday, March 8, 2010. The family requests memorials be sent to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
