Annette Blumberg's Obituary
ANNETTE BLUMBERG, 92, died at home on Sunday, September 2, 2012. She was the daughter of the late William Franklin and Cornelia Cocke Austin. She was born on August 20, 1920. She was predeceased by three brothers, Robert Franklin Austin, Allen Murray Austin, and William Wray Austin. She is survived by one brother, Fouche Austin, and three daughters, Anna Farris, Janis Truex-Butler, and Linda Caughron. She also leaves two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mrs. Blumberg worked at Fisher Aircraft during World War II, where she met her husband, A.E. ‘’Ozy’’ Blumberg. They married in 1947. Annette and Ozy were avid golfers and enjoyed participating in the Memphis Senior Olympics. Mr. Blumberg died in 1994. Mrs. Blumberg was a member of Merton Ave. Baptist Church. Visitation will be at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Thursday, September 6, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., prior to the service at 2:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to the organization of your choice.
