Annabel Ransom Taylor's Obituary
Annabel Ransom Taylor, 87, passed away July 9, 2014. She was born December 5, 1926 in Bridgeport, IL to Bertha G. and Orville Ransom. During World War II, she served as a Cadet Corps Nurse. She graduated from the Baptist Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and was a dedicated and accomplished Registered Nurse at the VA Medical Center. She is survived by her 4 children, Mary Taylor Baker (Stephen),of Pensacola, FL, April Taylor Futhey (Malcolm), of Memphis, TN, William Zachary Taylor (Cindy Lu), of Germantown, TN, and Priscilla Taylor Focks (Dorian), of Dacula, GA; 1 sister, Bete Wright (Leonard); 11 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Robert Fredrick Taylor, Sr. and son Robert F. Taylor, Jr. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She taught her children to love the Lord above all else and lived life with faith, boldness, and infectious laughter. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Friday, July 11 and funeral services will be 2:30 p.m., Saturday, July 12 at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery. Burial will be 9:30 a.m., Monday, July 14 at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
