Anna Stacy's Obituary
Anna Mae Garrard Stacy was born on February 2, 1926 and died on February 14, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard Stacy. Survivors include children: Stephen Stacy of Memphis and Judith (John) Elliott of Germantown; grandchildren: Amanda (Hunter) Sandlin of Memphis, Stacy (Emma) Elliott of Memphis, Molly Elliott of Memphis and Molly’s fiance’ Jeff Glover of Lakeland Great grandson: Judah Sandlin of Memphis; sisters, Mary McHaffey of Greenway, Arkansas, Ruth Evans of Germantown, and Beatrice Thoreson of Seattle, Washington. Ann graduated from Baptist Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in 1948. She worked for Baptist Hospital, the Veteran’s hospital and Oakville Healthcare Center in her career. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. followed by funeral services at 3 p.m., Sunday, February 17 at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to Germantown church of Christ Missionary Fund.
