I am so saddened by the passing of sweet Anna. We were friends from Wooddale. She was truly a precious gift from God. She was loved by all that knew her. She will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. May God bless. Patti Hunter Ward

We are so sad to hear of the passing of Mrs. Pechak. She was my son’s kindergarten teacher in 2008-2009. She was the perfect teacher for our shy, sweet little boy and she had such a wonderful impact on our son – I’m so grateful for her being a part of his life. It means so much to us. I know she will be a treasure for everyone in Heaven. I’ve attached a photo of Mrs. Pechak with my son as well as a picture of the class holding a sign to show their love for Mrs. Pechak.
Anna had a way of lighting up a person’s life -her smile, songs, laughter, hugs, positive attitude through all seasons of life, inner beauty, and for me just being a friend.Praying for all of Anna’s family for comfort and peace. The Sturdivant family
Mother of Anna, Mary Pylant, was my mentor and role-model for many years at Sherwood Elem. Mary introduced the beauty of all life had to offer to Anna. Anna could be nothing short of extraordinary with Mary holding her hand. Mary can look forward now of reaping the benefits and harvests of their garden inside those little grandchildren just like their Mom. And Mary, look around! Anna is everywhere.
