Anna Kay Bell Poe's Obituary
Anna Kay Poe passed away Wednesday March 6th, 2024 at the Village of Germantown after her battle with Leukemia. She grew up in Memphis with many of her still surviving friends and went to University of Tennessee where she met and married her deceased husband of 65 years, T James Poe, Jr (Jim).
She was a dedicated military wife and mother and after her husband retired from the military, she had a career for many years in Memphis as a court reporter.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many, and loved by all who met her. She had a kind spirit and a servant’s heart.
She leaves behind her 2 daughters, Lori Hall, Leanne Yates (Jim), 7 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
There will be a funeral service at Memorial Park on March 16th at 2:00 p.m. and a reception to follow at Germantown Village for friends and family.
The family requests any donations be sent to Emmanuel United Methodist Church.
