So sorry to hear of Ms. Lou’s passing. Thinking of you. May you find comfort in the days and weeks to come.
Thinking of you and praying for peace and comfort during this difficult time.
A better friend and mentor I could not have asked for. I was just beginning my career in the newspaper business when I was given the privilege of working alongside Lou. She knew her stuff and she would tell you how to do yours too. She was tough but fair and she was always there with a helping hand. All of us ended up being a team and Lou was our indelible leader. I hope that I had even a fraction of the impact she had in my life on hers. Fly to the angels where you belong Lou. We will see each other soon.
I will always remember Lou from my time working at the Memphis Shopper’s News. She had a great sense of humor and I enjoyed working under her. I will miss her. Karl Respess
