Todd A Plesco
In the early 1980's in East Detroit, Ms Houston taught me how to type on a manual typewriter starting in the 7th grade. By my senior year, we had moved to word processing machines and then computers. I don't know about my other classmates but even as I type this I'm thinking how what she taught me has lasted a life time. She used to tell us stories about growing up with a watermelon patch down in Mississippi and she wasn't ashamed of her devotion to the Almighty. She was one of my favorite teachers. I wish her nieces and nephews familes the best. -Todd Plesco
