Ann Wooten's Obituary
Ann Rousseau Wooten, 80, of Cordova, went to sleep at her home, to wake up in her heavenly home Monday, March 7, 2011. Ann was a native Memphian and a graduate of Messick High School class of 1948. She was retired from BellSouth and longtime member of Bellevue Baptist Church where she served in the Nursery Committee and the Welcoming Committee. Ann is survived by her husband of 60 years Zack Wooten, three children Amy W. Sims, R. Andrew Wooten (Linda), W. David Wooten (Pepper), one sister Frances Parham, and six grandchildren Stephen Sims, Richard Sims, Zach Wooten, Jon Wooten, Ben Wooten, and Cheyenne Wooten. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am on Friday, March 11, 2011, until service time at 1:00 pm, at Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
