Ann Peeler Dunn's Obituary
Ann Peeler Dunn, 89, passed away December 3, 2014. She was a war bride at 17 and soon followed her new husband to the West Coast where she had the essential war job of finding servicemen’s lost laundry. Mrs. Dunn retired from the University of Memphis, where she worked for 35 years as Administrative Secretary for the Department of Theater and Communication Arts. Following her retirement, she worked part time in Admissions at Rhodes College. She was a member of Second Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Dunn, the widow of Gervice L. Dunn, is survived by her children, Sue Hall, Patricia Lewis and Cathy Roux (Denis); grandchildren, Barbara Miller, Debra Hall, Drew Lewis, Kaytie Lewis and Joshua Roux and great grandchildren, Steven and Rachel Miller. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until the service begins at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, December 6 at Memorial Park Funeral Home.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119, “Behind the Stone Wall.”
