Anita Glueck Pierce's Obituary
Anita Glueck Pierce, 90, of Collierville, TN, passed away on February 13th, 2025. Born in Karlsruhe, Germany, to Else and Karl Glueck, who preceded her in death, Anita lived a life full of love and adventure.
Anita met her beloved husband, Albert Pierce, while he was serving in the Army. They shared 68 wonderful years of marriage before his passing. Together, they made Collierville their home and were cherished members of the community.
Anita worked as a stock controller at Sears Crosstown until her retirement. She and Albert enjoyed traveling overseas to visit family and explore new places. Anita had a passion for cooking and loved hosting family gatherings, especially during the holidays.
With the arrival of their grandchildren, Anita and Albert embarked on many adventures across the United States with an Avion Campers group, creating lasting memories often with their grandchildren in tow. Anita was a proud grandmother who attended both of her grandchildren's weddings and was overjoyed with the birth of her great-grandchildren.
In June 2021, Anita and Albert moved to Hearthside Assisted Living in Collierville to remain close to their family. Anita is survived by her two daughters, Yvonne Krueger and Debra Stegall (Jimmy); her grandchildren, Heather Rinehart (Skylar) and Keith Stegall (Hailee); and her great-grandchildren, Isaac, Avery, Logan, and Millie. She is also survived by two brothers, two nephews, and five nieces. She was preceded in death by one brother.
The family invites friends to gather on Monday, February 24, 2025, for a 10:00 AM service at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5668 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38119. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM.
