Angie Harville's Obituary
Angie Lynn Harville, 74, passed away January 6th, 2024 at Germantown Methodist. She was born August 30th, 1949 in Rogersville, Alabama and was the oldest of five children to Lynn and Margie Whitsett. Angie graduated from Bartlett High in 1967 and pursued further education at Shelby State.
Shortly after in 1968, Angie and Doug’s life journey together began, and they joined in unity in 1969. Angie’s legacy of family and love began with her beloved husband, Doug Harville, and a loving marriage of 54 years with the blessing of four children, Michael, Matthew, Alicia, and Justin. After raising their four children, the couple resided in Senatobia, MS.
Angie had an infectious smile and laugh that would light up a room and everyone would listen to see what witty or crazy thing she might say next. She truly cherished her family and friends and enjoyed watching her family grow over time. She enjoyed reality tv, like Big Brother and live streaming her son race down a track. She had a passion and appreciation for nature and enjoyed glancing out the window on God’s creations and feeding wild animals. Anyone that knew her knows she had a fondness for butterflies and ability to animal whisper. Even the simple things of having a chance to hear from kids or grandchildren on the phone or sitting down to enjoy a family dinner warmed her heart and brought her extreme joy.
Angie was preceded in death by her father, Lynn Whitsett and her brothers Jimmy and Joe. She is survived by her devoted husband Douglas, her adoring and caring children, Michael(Nikki) Harville, Matthew(Courtney) Harville, Alicia(DJ) Simpson, and Justin Harville, and her 7 precious grandchildren, Drew, Dustan, Zac, Ethan, Evan, Elliott, and Emma, her loving mother, Margie Whitsett, brother, Steve Whitsett, and sister, Becky Gibson, along with their families.
She will be deeply missed by all and live in our hearts.
