I still thinking about you my FRIEND when i take a JACK on the Rock since i met you in MYRTLE BEACH convention center in 2004 during the WORLD DUPONT AMATEUR TOURNAMENT. We were sitting around a table discussing about organisation of sale in province of QUEBEC CANADA and so many others subjets for the future of Jack Daniels.I was so impressed of your life description with JD CO. In this event we spend many time together after the daly game of golf, an after share some little time for a JD shot. I always considered you like one of my best friend. i will never forget you for ever. you were and you still be a great man and im sure that JACK DANIELS CO. will miss you for the future. your friendship and your facility to meet and speak with everybody of your own life in the company was incridible. Like an other writer of comments on you i wish that where you will be for ever , they will find you a job to give you the opportunity to continue your great job. Take care of all of us and today i will drink a JD OLD no 7 shot to your memories. STAY LIKE YOU WERE IN YOURLIFE AND I SALUTE YOU MY FRIEND
We have sincerely lost a loving, caring, wonderful human being. Mr. Lucchesi was loved by so many and he never met a stranger. In my younger years, he always welcomed me into his home, along with Mrs. Lucchesi. Denise, my love and prayers are with you always. Brenda Darnell DeVillier
Everyone in my family grew up with Uncle Angelo and Aunt Cecilia. They were just the sweetest people, they were always there, helping to celebrate our First Communions, graduations, etc. The first time I realized that Uncle Angelo was “famous” was when my sister told me that she had been at a RiverKings game, and a limo had been driven onto the ice, and Uncle Angelo and Aunt Cecilia got out of it and were waving at everyone and being honored for something! We were puzzled, as, to us, they had always been just Uncle Angelo and Aunt Cecilia! Then my in-laws got into the competitive barbeque world and met Uncle Angelo. He was a celebrity! He remembered everyone he met, where they were from, who their parents were, who their kids were and where THEY went to school! Today, I am just glad I knew him as Uncle Angelo, as so many others. And I am certain in saying that Angelo and Cecilia’s generous spirit is alive and well in their wonderful children and grandchildren!
I was first introduced to Angelo by my uncle Percy many years ago. I got a quick insight into his great sense of humor and open nature right then; when the first thing he said to me was “ok, now which Gaia are you?” Just like everyone who ever had the privilege of getting to know him, I knew I liked this guy immediately. We made friends right off the bat and enjoyed sharing stories of Memphis, our families, and our Italian heritage. He was without question the most genuinely charitable and kind hearted person I’ve ever known. It didn’t matter if it were a worthy cause, a community involvement activity, or a simple helping hand to a person in need; Angelo was always there. Over the years I was privileged to work with him – on the Liberty Bowl, Ave Maria Home, and Winter Italian Fest – and I was overjoyed to spend time with him on his many trips. He never tired of telling his great stories to anyone and sharing his good fortune and happy outlook with everyone. He bought me a special Jack Daniels’ gift on our trip to Lynchburg that I will always cherish. If anyone ever were to write the history of Memphis and its most important citizens of the 20th century, his name must be included right at the top. He had a loving, wonderful family; he was my friend for a long, long time; and I will miss him terribly. My heartfelt condolences go to Tish and Louis and the rest of his family for such a loss, especially at such a time of year; a time that Angelo especially loved because it’s about God, giving, family and friends – and seeing and bringing out the best in people. Something he did with a smile on his face and his heart – and an easy, open nature – the like of which I am certain I will not see again in my lifetime.

I had the great pleasure of knowing Mr. Angelo for many years thanks to my wonderful mother in law who was great friends with him, Angelo was an amazing man full of life, happiness, love. Angelo was the most thoughtful caring person I think I have ever met, he never met a stranger and once he met you he never forgot you. Angelo would call our house to check on my mother in law and never fail to ask how my husband, myself, and our boys were doing. I will miss him dearly.May you rest in peace my dear friend until we meet again. To Denise and the rest of the family I send my thoughts and prayers your way.
I Knew Angelo over 20 years…and in that time I don’t believe I ever saw him without a smile.or a kind work. He always made it a point to do something special for my wife as well as he did for many others. He was a treasure and will be missed by all who’s lives he touched…..RIP my friend
