Angelina Kolopanas Argol's Obituary
Angelina Kolopanas Argol, was brought to heaven on Tuesday, November 26, 2013. Born and raised in Memphis, Angie was the first-born daughter of Panagiota and Vasilos Kolopanas. She was a true Southern lady with a fierce independence for life and a talent for gardening. Friends and family were Angie’s love and joy, and those who were lucky enough to have met her, will forever remember her grace and kindness. Angie was preceded in death by her parents, and her loving sister Sophie Kolopanas Vryonis. Survivors include: her daughter Lizabeth (John Sklavos) of Houston, her granddaughter, Angela Sklavos, great-grandchildren (Lizzie and Yianni), and her sister Mary Chagaris. Sleep now with the angels and let your golden heart rest. Although our hearts are broken, we know that God took the best. Friends may call on Sunday, December 1st from 5-7 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 2nd 1:00 pm at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, with Father Berends and Father Vieron officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
