Andy was the first friend I made when I moved to Memphis and joined the cotton business. We attended cotton school and worked together at Weil Bros. I will never forget his unique personality.

To share all my fond memories of Andy would be quite a task because they go back over 60 years.
Reaching back long ago memories of this little boy sleep walking through our Brantford Road Neighborhood and that same little boy coming to our house front door and asking my mom “can Mr. Jester (my Dad) come out and play” Andy was loved so very much by us all in the Jester Family then many years later around 2012 Andy was there to help me as Mom and Dad’s care giver he would come to the same house on Brantford Road and help me pick that same “Mr. Jester” (my Dad) up off the floor as he continued to fail in his health. Then around that same time Andy joined me and a few of our mutual friends for my 60th Birthday and then being the dog lover he always was, comforted me when I lost by death my beloved dog Chase. These are some tearful memories but with a love filled hart I send my prayers and loving thoughts to all the Daltroff Family and regret so saddened that because of my physical condition I

I remember riding with him in Arkansas and Andy telling me all about cotton with Yogi in the back seat. He was a good friend and my family called Andy family love you Andy.
What a good man! Andy was always cheerful to everyone. Just a pleasure to be around. We didn't know each other that well, but I recognized right away that Andy was a gem. I will miss that smile and pleasant aire he had about him.
