Andrea Barsotti Bragg's Obituary
Andrea Barsotti Bragg, beloved wife, mother, and teacher, passed away on May 26, 2023. She was born on May 1, 1968, and her departure leaves a profound void in the lives of those who knew and loved her.
Andrea dedicated many years of her life to teaching at Immaculate Conception High School, where she left an indelible impact on the lives of countless students. Her passion for education and nurturing spirit created an environment of growth and inspiration within her classrooms. Andrea's commitment to her students and her profession was unwavering, and she will be remembered as a dedicated educator who positively influenced generations of young minds.
She began her academic journey at St. Agnes and later received her Bachelor's degree from Southern Methodist University. Continuing her pursuit of knowledge, Andrea obtained Master's degrees from Christian Brothers University. Her thirst for learning was matched only by her desire to share her wisdom with others.
Andrea is survived by her loving husband, John J. Bragg, and their two cherished children, William John Bragg and Charles Talbot Bragg. They were her greatest sources of joy and pride, and she leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion that will forever live in their hearts.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Gloria Barsotti Crawford and Louis John Barsotti, as well as her stepfather, Thomas E. Crawford. Andrea shared a deep bond with her family, and their memories will be treasured and carried forward with enduring affection.
Among her siblings, Andrea leaves behind three brothers and two sisters: Danny Barsotti, Ronnie Barsotti (Teresa), David Barsotti, Helen Reeves, and Donna Lajeunesse (Charles). Their close-knit relationship and shared experiences created a lifetime of cherished memories, and Andrea's absence will be deeply felt within their tight family circle.
Additionally, Andrea's presence will be greatly missed by her ten nieces and nephews: Julian Barsotti (Mary), David Barsotti (Lauren), John Barsotti (Kelcie), Michael Barsotti (Crystal), Andrew LaJeunesse (Emily), Christina Reeves, Thomas Reeves, Katherine Bragg, Julia Bragg and Henry Bragg. Her love and guidance played an instrumental role in shaping their lives, and they will forever hold her dear in their hearts.
Andrea Barsotti Bragg will be remembered for her unwavering dedication to her family, her passion for teaching, and her compassionate nature. She leaves behind a profound legacy of kindness, wisdom, and love that will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to have known her. Services to celebrate Andrea's life will be held at the St. Louis Catholic Church Friday June 2 at 1:30. Following the service, interment will take place at Chambers Chapel Cemetery in Arlington, TN, where Andrea will find her final resting place.
