Aminah Ashanti Patterson's Obituary
Howard Frank Patterson and Mary Ann Terrell were given a sweet Angel on April 16, 1999 named Aminah Ashanti Patterson. She was a true reflection of the meaning of her name. Aminah means “trustworthy” and Ashanti means “Great African Queen”. Aminah loved her family very dearly and enjoyed their presence. Her brothers, Broderick, Kedrick, Cedric, Shawn and Jordan cherished their sister. Big sisters Kolisha (Bobby), Tiffany, and Monique treated her like a queen. Aminah holds a special place in the hearts of her grandparents, Aiyetoro and Nailah Oyeleye and Julius Tuggle. Aminah’s great-grandmother, Angie Isom thought of her as amazing. Aminah’s aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, family, and friends are all grateful for the time they shared with her. Taking an interest in Aminah’s upbringing, personal development, and loving her unconditionally are her god mothers, Mary Sawyer, Brenda Adams and Nakenya Cartwright. Cousins are special and dear, Aminah spent her life journey with Justin and Annie Mabon. Aminah’s BFF’S will always be remembered as Erica Jones, Justyce Knowles, and Nigel Cartwright.
