Amelia Stanton Harper's Obituary
Amelia Stanton Harper, 94, formerly of Memphis, passed away in Charlotte, NC, September 22, 2010. She was a member of First Evangelical Church for more than 30 years, member and former leader of the Community Bible Study, member of the Bereaved Circle and a former teacher with the Texas School System. Amelia was preceded in death by her husband, Paul L. Harper, son, Palmer Lee Harper and is survived by her son, Dr. Paul Harper and niece, Donna Stanton. Services will be held at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, September 25, 2010 with a visitation one hour prior all being held at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be sent to First Evangelical Church.
