I first met Amelia a couple of years ago at Karen’s Condo. We were watching Dancing with the Stars on TV. We enjoying the show but we really bonded over Derek Hough. We both had the hots for him.!!!! It was a fun time, lots of giggling. Amelia really enjoyed herself.RIP
Karen Your Mom was “babysitting me” while Mom and Dad went out of town. We went to the department store in her New Volkswagon bug. When pulling out of the parking space she asked me if she was going to clear the car on my side and I told her she would. Well she didn’t clear the car and put a small dent in her NEW car. She almost cried but then looked at me and smiled and said it was going to happen some time. I never forgot. I thought a lot of your Mom.
I remember all through grade school and especially high school being at Mrs. Dabbs’ place.. whether it be for homework assignments, projects or just hanging out with Karen. I always thought how cool it must be to have Amelia as your mom! Always dressing so trendy and so put together. Even with such a laid back energy… We knew that she knew what we were up to…..not that it was ever anything too naughty! The most vivid memory I have of Ms Amelia was her piercing, poignant and contagious smile! 💕💕
I remember when you and your friend got your car stuck behind the Whitehaven Public Library in the snow. We worked so hard to get it out and were almost successful, but right at the last it just wouldn’t come out. You had to call your Mother to get the number for AAA. She was so upset that you were asking for the number, but you wouldn’t tell her the reason. Of course, when we got back to your apartment, she was about to “get us”

CG Cynthia Giannini in a few seconds When Karen and I were very little, we sucked our thumbs! I know what you are thinking, OMG, I didn’t know that! Oh yes, we thought their was nothing better! Well, Amelia Clare hated it! She chased us, ran into corners where we hid, and yelled at us to STOP!!!! Even from the next room as we were playing and it got quiet, she knew we were hiding it! Lol! So to sum it up, If Amelia didn’t like something or had a different opinion, she would definitely let you know but on the other hand could laugh with the best of them at a joke! Another thing that drove Amelia Clare nuts is someone chewing gum! Recently, I brought mom to visit her at Kirby Pines and I popped in a piece of gum before we saw her to freshen my breath and then turned the corner to Amelia’s room. The first thing she did was not say hello but she started mocking me chewing my gum like a cow! Lol! I immediately spit it out. To this day I am so contious of it! I can’t chew gum with out remembering her facial expression so I chuckle with a smile and spit it out! RIP My Aunt Amelia! I Love you! Please look down on your family that loves you and keep us safe. I will see you in heaven! Share On

When Karen and I were little, we were thumb suckers! Yea, I know what you’re thinking, OMG I never knew that! Oh yes, we thought there was nothing better! We used to hide from Amelia Clare because she always knew when we had our thumb in our mouth! She also hated to see anybody chewing and smacking their gum! Recently at Kirby Pines I brought mom to visit Amelia and I had gum in my mouth! At first sight, she began mocking me chewing like a cow! To sum it up, Amelia had a strong dry personality! She would let you know her opinion if she didn’t like something! I also remember Karen being at our house a lot after school because Amelia held down two jobs to make sure Karen was taken care of and she could make ends meet. I will miss her so much already. RIP Amelia, look down on your family and protect us all!
