Amelia Antonelli's Obituary
AMELIA GRANDI ANTONELLI, a lifelong resident of Memphis, died June 4, 2013 with her daughters, Barbara and Joan by her side at Barbara’s home in Florida. She is now peacefully residing with her Heavenly Father and her earthly family whom she cherished. She was predeceased in death by her husband of 53 years, John Antonelli, her sisters, Rose Grandi Robilio and Louise Grandi Miskel. She leaves her daughters, Barbara Antonelli and Joan Antonelli Lyons (Paul), both of Florida. She is also survived by two grandsons, John Lyons (Mary) of Virginia, and MIchael Lyons (Lisa) of New York; two great-grandchildren, Michael and Jordan Lyons. She also leaves her very caring nieces and nephews, Dena Lawing (Al), Michael, Nelsa, Richard, Ralph Robilio, Tonia Graf, and Amelia Ann Adams. Amelia and John were founding members of St. Louis Catholic Church. She was an active member of the Altar Guild and Legion of Mary. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, that memorials be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the Poor Clares of Memphis. Visitation will be at Memorial Park Funeral Home, Friday, June 14 from 5-8 p.m. The Rosary will be said at 6:30 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Louis Catholic Church, 203 S. White Station Rd., Saturday, June 15, 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial Park Funeral Home, “Behind the stone wall”, 901-767-8930.
