I remember this moment like it was yesterday. We went to Wolfchase Mall in Memphis to pick out our outfits for a concert—so much excitement and togetherness 💕🎶

A found memory with my beautiful, bubbly cousin Amber and her sister Afrika (Nikki). Amber and I were always together as little girls. I miss those moments—and her—so much.
Amber was a genuine soul I will never forget. She had a strong personality and always told me what to do—LOL. I think we were about 3 and 4 years old in this photo, with Amber a year older than me. We were at our grandmother Nanny’s house, surrounded by love and childhood joy.

This photo was taken during a very special Christmas, when we all dressed up to honor our late grandmother, Nanny, (Arlee Shannon Dickson) and simply be together as family. Everyone looked so beautiful and regal, and the joy in this moment was real and shared.
