I am saddened that I have lost one of my dearest friends. Aunt Alyce–as she will always be to me, was one of my favorite email buddies for years. I visited her and her husband Charles in their homes, the farm and the hardware store many times as a child.
Her niece, Tricia and I flew to Memphis in 1962 and spent the weekend with her and she was a most gracious host. Then in 1967
she took her nieces (Sharon and Tricia) and me on a grandiose two-week car trip to the west coast and back. She let me plan the itinerary but the trip was all her idea. I am really thankful that we were able to keep in touch by phone and snail mail after she gave up her computer. We have lost a wonderful person but heaven has gained a real gem. I will miss her greatly.-Glenn Mitchell Hudson.
