Alvis Lee Hillhouse's Obituary
Alvis Lee Hillhouse, 98, passed away on July 18, 2021.
Mr. Hillhouse was born on July 25, 1922, in Banner, MS, to Robert and Carrie (Ritchie) Hillhouse. He was an Army Veteran, having fought in WWII. He retired as a nursing assistant with the VA Hospital in Memphis, TN.
Mr. Hillhouse will be most missed by his daughter, Peggy Hillhouse; grandson, Chad Connery and his wife, Heather; great-granddaughters, Keely Butigan and Easton Grace Connery; siblings, Diane Baker Caraway and Robbie Hillhouse.
Mr. Hillhouse was reunited in Heaven with his parents, Robert (Bob) Hillhouse and Carrie (Ritchie) Hillhouse; daughter, Pam Hillhouse Connery; first wife of 34 years, Vivian Waldrop Hillhouse; and second wife of 18 years, Janie Lewis Hillhouse.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, July 22 at 1:30 p.m. with a funeral service at 2:30 p.m., both in the Fireside Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Memphis with military ceremony.
