Alison Pittman's Obituary
Alison Pittman, 46, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away, Tuesday, November 02, 2021 at home.
A memorial service honoring her life will be held at 1:30 pm Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 6865 Poplar Pike Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee 38119. The family will receive friends after her memorial service.
Alison was born on May 10, 1975 in Memphis, Tennessee to Robert Alan Pittman and Toni (Phipps) Pittman. Alison was preceded in death by her father Robert Alan Pittman, and both sets of grandparents. Mr. & Mrs. Howard (Bud) Phipps of Bristol, TN, and Mr. & Mrs. Hardin (Joe) Pittman, of Memphis, TN.
Alison is survived by her daughter, Payton Cully, of Memphis, Tn. Her mother Toni Pittman, of Memphis, TN. Her brother Richard Alan Pittman, Sr. and two nephews, Richard Alan (AJ) Pittman, Jr. and Landon Matthews Pittman of Germantown, Tn. Alison is also survived by Aunts and Uncles along with serval cousins.
Alison graduated from Germantown High School in 1993. Alison received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology/Sociology from the University of Memphis, and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Union University. Alison’s love for helping people led to a career in social work. Alison also worked within several family businesses. Alison loved her family, friends, her dogs, and University of Tennessee Football.
