ALICE LOUISE WOOD, 89, died August 7, 2011 at Bright Glade Nursing Home. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until service time at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, August 11 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Wood, widow of William “Bill” Carroll Wood, was a longtime member of High land Heights Baptist Church. She leaves a daughter, Mary Horton; brother, Richard Knipple; two grandchildren, Michael Horton and Lauren Horton.
