Alice Azalee Stone's Obituary
Alice Azalee Stone, daughter of John Wesley Leach and Virgie Odessa Leach was born on June 29, 1931, in McCrory, Arkansas, and departed this life on July 13, 2021, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, at the age of 90.
In her early life, she was an employee at Kellogg’s in Memphis, Tennessee. Later she enjoyed a career in sales and management in the fields of ladies apparel and bridal attire.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her aunt, Onia York Spain; one son, Alex Glen Adair; and one great-granddaughter, Alayna Adair.
She is survived by one son, Billy Joe Adair of Mountain Home, Arkansas; five grandchildren: Tony Adair of Campbell, Missouri; Kim Adair Carrington and husband Mike of Malden, Missouri; Amanda Adair of Memphis, Tennessee; Lauren Stewart and husband Andrew of Williston, Tennessee; Stacey Baker and husband David of Wynne, Arkansas; eleven great-grandchildren; and three great, great-grandchildren.
The visitation will be held on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. with a graveside service to follow at 2:30 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN, 38119. (901) 767-8930.
