Alice Martin Davidson's Obituary
Alice Martin Davidson 91 passed away on March 10, 2023. in Memphis, Tennessee
She was born on January 14, 1932 in Pittston, Pennsylvania, Daughter of the late Harry L and Anna R, Martin. She was preceded in death by a sister, Caroline Drummomd, and a brother Harry L. Martin.
She was a graduate of the University of Maryland College of Nursing. The University of Maryland Graduate School. and the University of Baltimore School of Law. She retired from the Department of Veterans Affairs after 35 years of service. She was a member of the faculty at the University of Tennessee College of Nursing for 10 years. She also retired from the Joint Commission on accreditation of Health Care Organization where she was employed as a Field Representative.
Alice served in the United States Air Force Nurse Corps as well as the United States Army Reserve and retired after 20 years of service with the rank of Colonel. She was on active duty during the Korean Conflict and the First Gulf war serving in combat areas.
She was a lifetime member of Sigma Theta Tau (Pi Chapter), VFW and DAV. She attended and was a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church.
Surviving is her son Kurt M. Davidson, and his wife Jaysah of Odenton, Maryland, Her daughter, Kim Davidson Buie, her husband Gil of Memphis Tennessee and, her son Erik K Davidson and wife Anna Marie of Tulsa, Oklahoma, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral Service for Ms. Davidson will be conducted on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 2:00pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home in the Fireside Chapel. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service starting at 1:00pm. Entombment will follow in Memorial Park Mausoleum with Military Honors.
