My mother in law had a difficult transition when she moved to Brookdale Dogwood Creek....until Miss Alice befriended her. Miss Alice “adopted” her and my mother in law adored Miss Alice. We did too and we will always treasure her. Until the virus, I was a volunteer Arts and Crafts teacher at Brookdale. Miss Alice attended every class. She had fascinating stories, great creativity, and true enthusiasm for trying new things. She will always have a place in our hearts
What can you say about a special lady who treated you like a friend from the first time you met. A personality so bright that you are drawn in to her. Alice Cook was such a vibrant, strong, Italian grandma personality (I probably missed a few descriptions) who always made you feel like you mattered and was concerned about you and your family.
Fly high my friend you are no longer bound by this earth.
