Albert Shannon Pierce's Obituary
Albert Shannon Pierce, 93, of Collierville, TN passed away on November 9, 2021. Albert was born in Halls, TN to Albert Franklin Pierce and Dollie Mae (Mathis) Pierce who preceded him in death. He served our country in the US Army, having been stationed 2 years in Germany, where he met his wife. After returning from the service, Albert worked for Sears in the Appliance repair department until he started his own company,
Al’s Refrigeration with a shop located on Park Avenue. He loved his family, traveling, fishing and being A member of the avion RV Club as well as a member of the Scottish rites. He spoke often of his wonderful family and his love for his babies. His great grandchildren knew him as Opa and loved going to his house to play. He loved family, Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners together.
Albert is survived by his wife of 68 years, Anita G. Pierce, two daughters, Yvonne Krueger andDebra Stegall (Jimmy). Grandchildren, Heather Rinehart (Skylar), Keith Stegall (Hailee) and Great grandchildren, Avery & Logan Rinehart and Isaac Stegall. 3 brothers in law as well as two nephews and four nieces. He is preceded in death by His brother Robert Pierce and his wife, Peggy.
The family will receive friends from 10:00am to 11:00am on Friday, November 19, at Memorial Park Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at be 11:00 am in the Fireside Chapel, at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
