Albert Gardner's Obituary
Albert Earl Gardner, 78, of Memphis TN / McKenzie TN, passed away on February 18, 2025 at Jackson Madison County Hospital in Jackson TN after a long illness.
He was born in Sidonia TN on July 10, 1946 to Albert Olion and Hazel Lee (Parish) Gardner. He served honorably in the United States Air Force, and he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Art Academy of Memphis. Al worked a variety of jobs before opening his own commercial art business, Gardner Graphics, from which he retired. He excelled in all forms of art - drawing, painting, photography, poetry - and he was an avid fisherman.
Al was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Dorothy. He is survived by his daughter, Randi Storye, and two brothers, Ron Gardner and Rick Stacks; as well as bonus daughters, Diane Clark and Kristi (Curtis) Crosser, and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
There will be no services. Al requested his ashes to be scattered privately at a later date.
