Agnes Jowers Woolley's Obituary
Agnes Lucile Brown Jowers Woolley, 86, passed away in Jonesboro, Arkansas on Monday, January 26, 2015. She leaves her husband, Walter Woolley of Olive Branch, MS; daughters, Brenda Jowers Boston of Memphis, TN and Patricia Jowers Adams of Jonesboro, AR; son, James Van Jowers, III of Little Rock, AR. She leaves 12 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. She retired from Mid-South Title Company/Lawyers Title. She was born August 11, 1928, in Greeneville, Greene County, TN, the oldest of 3 children and the only daughter of Glen Miller Brown and Mary Mayme Carter. She leaves a brother, Charles William Brown of Baileyton, TN. Her oldest brother, James Harold Brown died in 2005. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and will be buried in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Memphis. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 31, from 1:00 – 2:30 pm and a graveside service will immediately follow at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119, “Behind the Stone Wall.”
