Adrienne Stock's Obituary
Adrienne Aden Stock, 71, passed away on December 24, 2010 at her home. A lifelong Memphian, Adrienne graduated from The Hutchison School, attended Hollins College and graduated from Finch College. She was recognized by the Memphis City Council for her role as President of the Shelby County Republican Women’s Club in 1998. Adrienne was again recognized by the Tennessee Republican party as the Statesman of the year for the 9th Congressional District in 2002. She was active in the Golden Bees Alumnae Association at Hutchison as well. Her passion for reading and education is passed on to her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Richard Stock, two sons, Percy Stock and Blaine Stock, two sisters, Cynthia Simmons and Peggy Mason, three granddaughters, three nieces, two great nieces, and two great nephews. Pallbearers will be Richard Stock Jr., Cayce Stock, Walker Stock, Mal Kretchmar, Eric McKenzie, and Sean Westmorland. The memorial service will be at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. Visitation will commence at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Hutchinson Alumni Fund in her name.
